Whenever anyone attempts to write meaningfully about the great questions of Christianity they are inevitably accused of heresy by someone who disagrees with the suggested answers. Bell's message in this book is that God's love is too vast to sentence people to infinite punishment for finite crimes. It is a beautiful message, and it is a shame that it will be lost in the smoke of doctrinal infighting.
