Careers in comics rarely get second acts and aging creators tend to look on their successors with bitterness and disgust, while looking back on their own predecessors with nostalgia and hero-worship. Jones unloads on the Vertigo and Image creators that eclipsed his generation of superhero writers and artists. The results are fun and informative, if a little depressing at times.
