The Hypernaturals Vol. 1

The Hypernaturals Vol. 1 - Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, Brad Walker Hypernaturals is the best reboot of Legion of Super Heroes to date. I wish this actually had been the New 52 Legion. Unfortunately Hypernaturals was canceled after issue twelve; if it had been a DC comic it likely would not have lasted that long.

The story revolves around a group of reservists and retired members who get reactivated when the premier team gets wiped out on their first mission. The lead villain follows the stereotype that anyone above a certain IQ point inevitably turns evil. In my experience it is only an increased propensity, not a certainty.
