Captain America & the Mighty Avengers Vol. 1: Open for Business - Al Ewing, Luke Ross, Iban Coello

Mighty Avengers is an ethnically diverse team of superheroes from Marvel Comics. The first half of the collection deals with the fallout from the Axis miniseries in which a magical incident caused a bunch of heroes to take a face-heel turn. If you haven't read Axis it will probably be incomprehensible. The second half has the team face an extra-dimensional threat called the Beyond Corporation. The cool thing about this story is it restores Warren Ellis' brilliant superhero parody Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. to Marvel continuity. I hope future volumes will develop the team's own story rather than deal with stories from other books.
