Is that you, Batman?
One of the cool things about Batman is that the character is open to multiple interpretations. James Bond cool, goofy camp, borderline psychopath, Sherlock Holmes in spandex, all of these are perfectly valid. In his Batman: Earth One series Geoff Johns is giving us yet another take on Batman. This version is not the world's greatest detective or the greatest fighter, but he is trying his hardest. He is surprisingly quick to trust people. He seems like a Batman who might actually take off the mask some day and become something approximating a normal person.
I should make that my personal affirmation: "Try becoming something approximating a normal person."
