When I read the first issue of the Invisibles I hated it. A punk kid throws a molotov cocktail into a library. Way to stick it to the man! If I had stuck with the series until issue 3 I would have been hooked. Of course I probably still would have dropped the book when it got to the Marquis de Sade stuff.Invisibles is a crazy trip through conspiracy theories, magick, and enlightenment. Anyone who has fantasized about being being in on secret knowledge about the nature of reality and fighting an underground war against repressive authoritarian forces will love this series.
