Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made - Stephan Pastis The thing I like best about Timmy Failure is that in nearly every illustration he stares straight out at the reader with the intensity of a maniac. If the book is ever adapted into a movie I hope the child playing Timmy spends the entire movie staring straight at the camera regardless of what is happening in the scene.

Timmy Failure is an object lesson in the dangers of high self esteem. Timmy is a terrible student, completely irresponsible, and has almost no friends, and yet he is convinced he is a genius, destined for greatness, and is extremely popular. Weird underachieving kids need more role models like Timmy Failure.
